Was visiting in New York for a few days and was craving sushi. So glad we stopped in. The sushi was so good and fresh. You have to try the cocktails too. It is a bit pricey but worth every bite. The service and ambiance were good. Highly recommend eating here.

I highly recommend this place for ambiance, food, and the service! The food was delicious but the portions were on the smaller side. The place is big and they have private rooms for parties. I felt like it was authentic Japanese place and would love to come back here

Absolutely incredible - one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in NYC. The fish is so fresh and the presentation is beautiful. What an amazing find, and a wonderful pre-theater option.

Really sophisticated beautiful restaurant in a very business part of time. I came for lunch with my mom and felt welcomed, unlike some places that seem higher end but act a bit snotty at times. The waiters were very patient as we decided what to eat. The set lunches were a great value as I left very stuffed, but for the items that are not set lunches, we found it a bit overpriced for what they were. My mom enjoyed her small but delicious sea bass along with her eel and avocado roll. The eel is very fresh, unlike the super market ones you would buy or ones you get at a lower price point. I thought the chirashi was fantastic - I left very full and almost couldn't finish my giant bowl of sashimi mixed with eel and eggs! I'd definitely return to the restaurant but only for the set lunches.

We were looking for yelp recommendation near Grand Central one Friday night and I am glad we gave it a try. The decor was modern and intimate. It was quiet when we went in at 6pm and it was full by 7:30pm. The service was great from the beginning to the end. The food came at a good pace. We ordered omakase and was not disappointed. We had omakase in quite a few places and this place is high up on my list. The fish was very fresh and food in good portions. The presentation simple and not pretentious. We were very very full and satisfied when we left. This is a great place to bring your date.

I was super impressed with the freshness of the sushi. I had the 7 piece sushi with the chef choice roll. The roll was a simple salmon roll. Now I'm not typically a fan of salmon but the roll was delicious. The place looks fancy and our waiter was very quick and prompt. Great for work luncheons and dinners as well as dates

Pretty expansive space for the city. Staff is friendly and attentive. I met a colleague for lunch and we sat in the back room which was a cute little space. Food wise we ordered the Agedashi tofu appetizer 3/5 You only get 3 I would say it was yummy but not the absolute best I have had and the skin was be chewy. The dish itself was more room temperature Kaiden Don- 4/5 Vibrant and delicious, cute little sides and I left feeling VERY FULL. Wish there was more of the tartar and it wasn't spicy at all. SAKE SAIKYO-YAKI TEISHOKU Looked good can't rate because my friend ordered it but she seemed to enjoy it! Service wise it was decent. I felt like for the price point everything should be stellar and I would say it was good but not AMAZING.

Nice and sophisticated Japanese spot in a convenient location! The interior is chic and upscale. The service is really friendly and accommodating as well. The food was delicious. We started with the agedofu and avocado salad. The yuzu sauce was light, but tasty. We got the Kara-amadai butter and 7 sushi and 1 roll. While the sushi platter was fresh but not too impressive, the Kara-amadai butter was so delicious. The sauce was amazing and I would come back just for that. Overall, while the sushi didn't stand out too much, the other dishes were much more tasty!

I said it before I'll say it again, my favorite sushi in the city. I'm tempted to end my review here: no words, just go. But alas, I need to tell the wonderful people of yelp about this incredible place. Nice interior when we you walk in; I've sat at most of the tables and I love the booths. The service is always great, never had a bad experience. Actually the most recent time I went, the waitress was so so nice and I wish I knew her name so I could mention her. Now the food... THE FOOD. Their lunch special is lovely and I always get the Bara Chirashi and add salmon roe. Delicious. The fish is so fresh, everything tastes wonderful. And of course, have to get some sake. Love this place!
